Jiving at Jive

Two weeks ago I went to a happy hour event at Jive, a software company based here in Portland, Oregon. Not only do they have a great product and a sweet office. They also have their own custom pint glasses. Needless to say, I kinda wanted one...

Last week I emailed a friend who works there and offered a trade. One Jive pint glass for one home brewed beer (Blueberry Pale Ale - I'll post the recipe soon). He agreed and we met for lunch this week to make the switch.

Aren't they cute? Does your company do custom pint glasses? Let me know!

Looking forward to reading about your beer recipes. While we focus mostly on the craft beer scene in the US, the Aleheads will soon be dipping into the world of homebrewing. Perhaps your experiments will serve as inspiration to the rest of us!

I added you to our Blogroll so our readers can find you. Good luck with the beer blogging!

Hey Brother Barley,

I'll be posting reviews of breweries soon. Got any you want me to check out in the Pacific Northwest? But I'll also be posting recipes from my homebrews.

Thanks for adding me to your blogroll!

Does the offer of "a bottle for a glass" apply to everyone? If you want someone to go with you to help review breweries, let me know:)

Haha Aaron! Got a pint glass for me? I'm sure I can do another trade. Check out my list of breweries I want to check out and let me know which ones you want to go too - or suggest another one and we'll meet up!

Aaron - I've been there before. However it's been a year. I'm up for another trip. Will post the pint glass picture soon!
